HS Pre Season Tryout Dates 
August 17th and 18th 

HS Volleyball Tryouts 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Grail Sports Complex - 904 New Road 
HS Soccer Tryouts 9am - 11am Odyssey Turf
HS Field Hockey Tryouts 10am - 12pm Odyssey Turf
HS Cross Country Tryouts 3pm - 4:30pm Odyssey Turf


Tryouts for Middle School Fall Sports are as follows:

MS Girls Volleyball: Monday, 8/31 and Tuesday, 9/1 2:45-4:45 @The Grail. OCS will transport to The Grail. Guardians pick up from the Grail.
MS Field Hockey: Tuesday, 9/1 and Wednesday 9/2 @OCS Turf
MS Boys Soccer: Wednesday, 9/2 and Thursday, 9/3 3-4:30 @OCS Turf
MS Cross Country: Wednesday, 9/2 (Girls) and Thursday, 9/3 (Boys) @Banning Park 3-5. OCS will transport to Banning Park. Guardians pick up from Banning Park

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, all DIAA Physicals and Transfer Forms must be submitted through RankOne. Parents should create a RankOne account, claim their student, and complete the DIAA Eligibility Form. If the student is a transfer student, select "Yes" when prompted, and the required transfer form will automatically open for completion and submission to the school.

Returning students and incoming 9th graders who are not transfer students should select "No." The form will then be marked complete.

Steps for registering for RankOne:

Start with step 1 when using Rank One link below.

1. Go to:https://www.rankone.com/.

2. Click on: “For Parents.”

3. Click “Go to forms”

4. Scroll down and choose: “Delaware”

5. Scroll down and choose: “Odyssey Charter School.”

6. Scroll down to “Create new account” all the way at the bottom.

7. Complete parent account information, click on: “Register.”

8. After you register, check the email you used to register with.

9. In the email you receive from NoReply@RankOneSport, click on: “here.”

10. To login, click on: “here.”

11. Enter student’s last name and student ID number. Type your name just like it

is printed on your student ID card. If you have two last names, you must use

both.

12. Click on: “Start Forms.”

15. Click on: “(Click to view forms/status).”

16. Click on each form and complete:

“Consent to Treat and Insurance”

“Proof of Insurance”

“Special Medication Information”

“UIL Forms Signature Page”

17. Click on: “Submit” when you have completed the form.

18. If you have more than one child, go to “Add a Child” and repeat steps 11-17

DIAA Spectator Code of Conduct


  1. Be informed of the playing rules of the sport.

  2. Appreciate a good play regardless of who makes it.

  3. Cooperate with the cheerleaders and do not interfere with their cheers.

  4. Show concern for an injured athlete regardless of team affiliation.

  5. Do not taunt, jeer or attempt to distract the members of the opposing team.

  6. Avoid the use of profanity and derogatory or disrespectful yells, chants, songs or gestures.

  7. Refrain from offensive or unruly behavior which reflects poorly on the school you are supporting.

  8. Respect school property and the authority of school officials. Remember you are a guest of the host school.

  9. Do not publicly criticize the coaches or athletes for the loss of a contest.

  10. Respect the contest official and accept their decisions with out public protest. Recognize that without them we do not have a game.

Athletic Fees


High School Athletic Fees - First Sport $100, Second Sport $75, Third Sport $50
Middle School Athletic Fees - $50 Per Sport

Payment should be made on your infinite campus account. 

Athetes that do not pay their sports fee WILL NOT receive thier unifomr.
If their first seasons' uniform is not returned, they will not get the next seasons uniform. (ie. If they play a fall sport and do not return their uniform, they will not get their winter or spring sport uniform.)

Eligibility Information


DIAA Fall Sports - Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Cheerleading
DIAA Winter Sports - Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Cheerleading
DIAA Spring Sports - Baseball, Softball, Girls Soccer, Boys Volleyball, Track and Field



To be eligible for sports, you must have a DIAA sports physical on file with Mr. Laudeman, and a signed Odyssey Charter parent/athlete handbook. If you do not pursue a regular course of study and pass at least five credits per marking period (equivalent of four credits in junior high/middle school), two credits of which must be in the areas of Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, or World Language. If you are a senior, you must pass all courses which satisfy an unmet graduation requirement

Physical Exam Information


Get your DIAA sports physical now!
All sports physicals must be fully completed and turned in before you are eligible to participate in any sports.  If you do not have a completed sports physical for the current school year you will not be allowed to tryout. All sports physicals must be on the DIAA form and dated after April 1st.  You can go to your family doctor or a walk in clinic.  The clinic right by school offers them for $45. The following med express clinics offer sports physicals.
